I have heard that build sheets are located inside of the car upolstry when it was shipped. Has anyone actually found one and where was it?

You can find the build sheet in a number of places. Here are some common locations:
glued to the inside of the front door interior panels, stuffed under the front seats, stuffed in the bottom springs of the back seat(where i found mine crumpled in a ball, hooked to a spring found it this year on my 1970 SS), glued on top of the gas tank ( I hate when that happens). good luck
