I just got my car running,and drove it to the muffler shop last night,,it ran and shifted fine, I left the muffler shop tonight,got on it a little bit, and the tranny wouldnt shift into high,pulled over and looked over the situation,and took off again,it finally shifted into high,but at an excessively high rpm,when I got into town it didnt want to shift again,but when I shifted to 2nd then back into drive it shifted into drive,I just installed a B-M shift kit,2400 stall converter,and Derale pan from summit racing,,,any suggestions on why it isnt shifting today when it was fine last night??

Check to make sure your vacuum hose on the modulator did not come off. They may have bumped it while working on the exhaust.

thanks Tom, the hose between the modulator and the steel vacuum line is not a real snug fit....could that be the problem?
