Hi guys -

I'm getting ready to paint the blacked out areas on the new grill I got for my 68 SS. The old grille is no good as a reference because someone already went nuts on it with a spraybomb. Does someone have a 68 SS with original paint still on the grille? I could really use some correct details. Any help is appreciated! Thanks much!

Rainer,

The black on my grill (original but toched up) is correct with the vertical mesh being painted. The paint stops at the 90 degree intersect point between the horizontal lips and the start of the mesh.
