I ordered an alum radiator today. I got the direct fir one for my 65. According to the guy at Griffin, the stock core size(just the fins) is 15.5" by 24". The brass radiator I have on the car now is 17" by 24". Does this mean I have a non-stock radiator? Does that size sound right to the rest of you? That is without the tanks but it sounds small. The brass rad I have doesn't cut it, and I am going smaller with the alum. I know the alum is better, but...
Any thoughts are appreciated.
I didn't realize that all these alum radiators are made to order. They said it will take 4 weeks to build it. oh well.
