teven123 Jul 1st, 99, 8:28 AM i obtained a bench for my 70 chevelle which the guy before i went to see it said it was original, it wasn't, but the foam and springs were really good so for 50.00 i said what the heck, the question, the lever for the seat back is down on the left bottom side of the seat back is this correct for a 70 chevelle? if so i'm going to throw a 70 cover on it, thanks Steve gotapileof70Malibu Jul 1st, 99, 8:37 AM This is correct for the driver's side. I had to salvage a 70 bench seat to redo the springs in my 70 when I recovered them. Another tip, replace the burlap that goes between the seat springs and the foam. I got some nice burlap from Wal-Mart.
