I don't know what year car you have or what kind of end you have on your cable. But I can share this: I have a 68 with a small block and a holley 650 dp.
I got a new throttle cable from the dealer. I don't remeber the application though, but I think it was for a 327 something or other. It has the round end that mounts in the bracket. Unlike the mid 70's ones I was familiar with that had the square bracket mount.
The bracket I used I got from one of the resto parts places, and it was for a BB chevelle "w/spec hp", meaning basically, for a Holley carb. It mounts under the carb stud, on top of the holley, and there's a tang on the bracket to fit the notch in the carb, to hold the bracket straight. There's also a return spring hole.
I like the stock look, I didn't want a fancy expensive custom cable. Take a look at Ground Up....the cable I have is the same as their ATH-3369, and the bracket is their ADT-0014. Other places have these same parts too.... smile.gif

A replacement cable assembly is still available from GM.
Reasonably priced, too.
