I (actually my father in-law) ran across a virgin yes virgin 3963512 block complete with virgin crank (don't have the number on this yet...). On the front pad of the block is:

19R028926
I can decode most of this but the LE and 19R. I cannot find on this site... amazing! Must not be putting in the correct search info eh?

T=Tonawanda
1116=Nov 16 Assembly
LE=Corvette?

19R=??
028926=vehicle production sequence

Oh did I mention the heads are 512s. Aluminum intake is stamped GM. I believe this is an original unmolested 427 ??HP from a 69 'vette.

I had my father in-law give this guy what he was asking ($200) and figured I would gather the details later...... heh heh.

9=1969 model year
