0k guys im getting ready to put a new motor in my chevelle so I bought some nice electronic gauges from auto meter. The problem I'm have is that the oil pressure sending unit is so massive that it wont clear the intake manifold. Its an edelbrock performer and it has a little ridge right near the back of that wont let the sender go in. My old sender went in fine because it was about a 1/4 of the size of this thing. Any body have suggestions. Is there another hole to put the sender. I think it would go in fine if it had an extension fitting, does any1 make one.

Get some fittings and relocate it away from the intake. I take it this is a SBC? When I had a SBC I just got some brass fittings and a short nipple and plumbed it.

thanks, actually i just found a port right above the oil filter that taped in fine. This is a correct oil pressuer outlet right. Its right on the protrusion were the filter would screw on.

Thats the one I use on my BBC. Make sure to route your wires away from the exhaust. I have a mechanical and still try to keep the braided line away from the exhaust.
