i am trying to finish up the interior of my 65 wagon and i need new door panels for all four doors. all of the major resto suppliers (like YEAR ONE, NPD, etc) sell panels for two door models only. anyone know of a company that makes the panels for four doors? Any one out there have a perfect set of panels that they want to sell? My car came out great on the outside and under the hood, on the inside it looks like garbage.

I really doubt you can get 4-door panels. But, My friend has a 63 Belair wagon with a 409. Really cool car. Anyway, he faced with the same dilema. He just bought (4) front door panels and cut 2 of them them to fitthe rear doors! Check it out and see if it will work on your car. If you can't do it, I'm sure a professional shop can take the front panels and make them work.

I recently completed a total ground-up restoration on my 70 wagon. I was faced with the nearly impossible task of locating interior wagon parts, including door panels. I searched for a long time before I gave up and opted for panels made from scratch at an upholstery shop. I ended up having the whole upholstery done (seats, panels, carpet, cargo carpet and side, headline, window pillars, etc.) Going with the upholstery shop was one of the best things I did with my wagon. The quality is so much superior than any of the repro stuff out there. If you plan to keep your car for a long time and use it (rather than only show it), spend the money on top-quality upholstery over the mass-produced repro stuff.

I built up the door panels required for my 64 2 door wagon and it's not that difficult. On a 2 door wagon, I could have used the 2 door sedan "door" panels, but you can't get the panels that are adjacent to the rear seat.

If you don't know how to sew, it's a good project to get the girl friend involved!

Here is a link to the page on my personal site where I show how I did it. (the page is REAL old and you can tell that I was just learning about web site generation!!!)
