Back on 8-13-99, Brian Lamson posted about a valve on his Buick that might work for a CI Hood. I checked it out, bought one and have been using it for about 2wks now.
I like it better than the correct (or repo) valve because it lets the Cowl Door close a little more slowly than the stock valve. So far it has been working perfect. I don't remember what my cost was (seems like about $12-15) and again the part number is 1154551. If nothing else, a person can use this for daily service and switch for the correct valve when needed for show.
