Kinda long...Ha hawwww :D what a learning experience this was.If anyone seen my previous post"cab. problem?"plugs where all black etc.So I redid carb.with new power valvel etc.Still not right won't idel below 2-3000 rpm.So ok maybe intake leaking did some test there nothing ,redid that,still bad, rechecked carb. still bad.

Ok must have a valvel open but compression check was ok.Took head off anyway,pass. side had a back fire on last time it ran good.Everything ok there ummmm.Put all back on.Turned car over,without plugs in,what the.......gas comeing out,of cylinders :mad:

Bought a carb., from friend day before for 100 bucks had the mounting ears busted off 2 some how,never seen gas,"same one I asked if he had a carb. before all this".

Put my baseplate on it,and vavavoommm ;) took right off,well after some coaxing,float level mostly,and air screws.

Is it just me man am I stupid :rolleyes: I'f only I could a found a carb, to try,or,,,looked down car. to see gas going in when it shouldn't be.

That's my story sticking to it :D Anybody ele's do some stupid trouble shooting.Like mine probly not :(

I think we've all been there at some point on our projects. Glad to hear you solved it before you sold it off for a dollar ;)

Not for a dollar,but a fire coulda started some how tongue.gif Kind funny now :D Only took me a month to figure out.Man I was losing it, well lost it along time ago. :eek:
If I woulda turned it over with out spark plug's in after carb.rebuild, half my time would have been saved to :(
