I have been looking at a Demon carburetor for my 350. Has any one used one of these? Is it easy to tune? Are you happy with it?

I dont know what motor/car you have, but,Iv read good things about them, but a post in the past had a 30/70 pos/neg responce.never ran one.a holley is cheaper, and I dont know what gain you will get with a demon.Im sure you will get more replys on this one! good luck 67rat member #199

I was looking a Demons too. They do make great power, but the question is long term reliability. Nobody knows for sure. I have heard equal good and bad about them. So I played it safe and bought a built up Holley, cost a little less and has most of the stuff the Demon comes with.

I have a demon 850 and have been happy with it. It takes at more setup work than a holley to get it right, but when it gets dialed in it runs great. The response off the line is better than with my holley 850 and the midrange seems better also. No problems in about 2 months since I've had it.

I have a road demon 625 on my dodge race 318, which I took off and am fixing to put on my Chevelle. It was a bitc* getting it tuned in, mostly because I am not familiar with carburetors as much as I should be and especially not a BG carb. But it ran great. I;ve heard back talk about the way they idle, but I haven't seen that problem yet.
