My carb is leaking from one of the lower two gaskets, it is hard to tell. I have the replacement gaskets and was wondering if all I have to do to remove the carb from the intake is to pull off the vacuum hose to the distributor and hose to the tranny, then of course the fuel line has to be removed and the throttle cable along with the throttle return spring. Is this all I have to do? Then after replacing the gaskets just install all the lines again?

Luke,
That is pretty much the procedure. Mark everything or draw a diagram you may wind up having it off longer than you planned. Before taking it off, spray it with carb cleaner then check to see exactly where it is leaking. You didn't say what year, engine or carb you have so this is just general advice. It is possible it is coming from factory installed lead plugs, if so you can epoxy over them. If it looks dirty on the inside you should just plan on a rebuild.
