Have a 69 block with mild mods but using a high volume oil pump and a deep pan. Problem is over 2000rpm I blow oil out the breather at an alarming rate.

What are your compression test and leak-down numbers?

Are you using a PCV valve?

cd,
The high volume pump and pan have nothing to do with it. The piston rings are probably worn out, or something else is wrong allowing blowby past the pistons and rings.

I used to have tons of oil come out of my breathers because I didn't run a PCV and didn't have baffles inside the valve covers. I've learned since then.

I don't have baffles or a PCV valve and blowby is very minimal...I can race all day and wipe up the small amount with a grease rag. Just good ole K&N push in breathers.
