this may be a repeat message but still have no answer so here we go again,but this time i have pics.i have a 66 malibu ,my factory delivery sheet say it comes with option z60 indash tach which i have in the car now it also states that next line z60 " direct read console guages".which the car is missing,but there is afactory cut out in the console where somthing used to be,there is also two small bolt under dash directly above this cut out.which leads me to think there were console guages,no one i spoke to ever heard of either option,but i still have the indash tach if anyone has any idea on this or has seen one please let me know,or if you think seeing a pic may jar some thoughts just e-mail me man130@aol.com and i will e-mail them right away thanks for any help you can give dave

I have seen the guage option in a 66 Malibu Convertible. First of all this was the cleanest all oringinal 66 I've ever seen. This car was unrestored & had very low miles. It had buckets & a console & the guage package mounted between the dash & console. They were definitely original & they were in the mold of a 66 Caprice cluster, but not identical. As far as the tach goes I cannot recall if this car had one, its been 8 years. I would love to see a pic of your factory tach, please email peter.fay@bmge.com. Has anyone else seen this package???
