Okay it happened to a buddy of mine and now I have a front hub (drum brakes) that the wheel studs are to loose. New ones fit in to easy and spin when mounting the wheel. Any suggestions!!!!!!!

Yes that is one solution (no one sells them). Was looking for innovative solution. If none I will have to get a used one from someone. Thanks......

I think that you have two useful options. First , go to a parts store and check the wheel bolts that they have on hand with a set of calipers or micrometer. Somebody must have used a bolt that is just a bit bigger than yours. This might mean getting half inch lug nuts, too. (are you sure the the bolts you have are the right ones?) And the second would be to take the hubs off the car, bolt on a wheel and tack weld the bolts to the hub. This would allow you to get some more miles on those hubs while you shop for a good deal on the replacements.

Yes they are the right bolts (7/16 RH). Only 2 of them would spin and so I got 2 longer bolts (wheel studs) and put a nut on the backside. The length came out the same on the front side. I then mounted the wheel on the hub using a wrench and lug wrench. Then put the assembly on the spindle. That should work fine until I find a replacment or convert to discs. Thanks......
