Hi,

I have a 72 chevelle with the stock 350, can anyone tell me what the horsepower is with this motor?

I get conflicting information when i google it, and the original manual isnt any help either.

my old chiltons shows in 1972 there was a 2bbl
350 at 165hp,& 4 bbl 350's at 175, 200, or 250 hp not sure if this was gross or net hp though(probably net)

Thanks, thats a bit less than i was expecting, maybe ill just pull the sucker out and put in a 396.
