Does anyone have or know where to locate 1969 Chevelle magazine, newspaper ads, or copies of TV commercials or other like material?

Check Life and Look magazines from Sept 68 to August 69. You should find some good ones.

I don't know but I can remember in the army I had a poster of a 69 or 70 Chevelle SS, red with the black hood stripes and a red lighted area under the front end shining on the pavement. This was a mouth watering Pin UP for me. Some times you can go to car shows and find the original ad flyers and phamplets for these cars. tom

Tom, That red SS was a '70. I remember going to the auto shows held at the New York Colliseum in the late 60's with my brother and friends and picking up loads of literature and posters mostly because they were free. Of course after awhile the novelty wore off, they were getting bent and torn from being tossed around the room and we threw most of them out (had I known.....) My brother says he held on to one of those red SS posters though. That's the one that stands out in my mind. It was, and is a beautiful car!
Thanks for to opportunity to reminisce.

You may want to check out EBAY. I just bought a 69 sales pamphlet for $14.50,I think it is a bit over priced but it tells options ect. It is about 3 or 4 pages I have not gotton it yett. I should get it in about 2 weeks or less. If you would like I can scan it and send it out to you,let me know.

Check out the library(s), find the issues you want and then start hunting swap meets, yard sales, etc for these issues or advertise in the local papers etc. You might have to purchase many to get one but if you buy from the dealers it would probaly cost the same.

Original sales literature, ads, etc. are available from Walter Miller
6710 Brooklawn Parkway
Syracuse, N.Y. 13211
Write and tell him what you would like or call (315) 432-8282

He also has a web site but I don't have the address for it. Kinda expensive stuff but it is ORIGINAL sales promo items and catalogues.
