Trying to decide if I want to sell the 350 thats coming out this weekend, or if I should hold onto it. It is the original engine from the car, but it is just a 350 with a 2 brl carb. Numbers are: T0428CNN. Engine has 86k miles on it, and smokes a little between shifts, otherwise runs great. How much can I get out of it?

Penny a pound at the scrapyard, or $$$ if you've got the space to store and then re-sell if you change cars ;)

IMO $200-$250 if its complete with brackets, pullies, etc.

He said he'd give me $200 for it, with the pullies and brackets. Sound ok?

200 would be a good buy on one around here if it runs
good without using alot of oil.
If it is not going to be in the way why sell it?
You never know when you might need a spare motor.

If you don't have room for it in the garage, put a piece of glass on it and store it in the house ;) . Never know when you will find another project car needing a motor. With all the brackets and starter it would be an easy swap.

Its not in the way, but I have really no need to keep it around. It won't be going back in the car, and my next project will not have the use for a 350 anyways. So I figure another $200 to play with on new parts is better than nothing.

if it's a matching # engine to your Chevelle, it's really worth keeping!! Otherwise, $200 bones is a fair deal,
