ok, so first things first, i bought a 355 ci, small block with a 671 blower on it from aaro enginering in souther california (the one that do the 32 valve cylinder heads for just about everything) it has afr aluminum heads on it, etc. etc. so over two years later, i finally get it installed into my 65 chevelle, and go to break everything in. starts right up. having it run at about 2500 rpm for break in, no more than 2 or 3 minutes at max of it running it starts to boil over through the overflow, the fans didnt even turn on, i shut the car down and notice that the temp gauge is maxed past 250, when it wasnt even working earlier, so the fan's failed to go on or, the guage is terribly wrong. so i go to check the oil. its like freakin cremed out coffee color, so at the very easiest i have a blown head gasket.... graemlins/angry.gif this sucks so bad after 2 years to contiune run itno problems liek this, i swear my car is curssed or somthing, maybe im a dumbass but i don't know. i just sure hope the problem isn't worse than this. there was no smoke at all coming out of the exaust is the weird thing, so it looks like it just all poured into the block, i just hope its not a busted cylnder head or water jacket inside the block, im pretty worried  / :( / graemlins/angry.gif at this point and just hope for the best, any suggestions?

That much water that fast is not a head gasket,

Simple stuff first ;)

Check that the intake is fitting properly & the gaskets aren't leaking.

Check that all the head bolts are in & torqued.

I just went through a problem with a blown 392 Chrysler I did & the intake was a complete piece of crap.
I had to machine .060 off both sides to get it to fit at all & then the top was mismachined so bad that the center was .025 low in the middle.
Plus two of the blower bolt holes were off to the point I had to elongate the holes in the blower to make it fit graemlins/angry.gif
These were all brand new parts graemlins/sad.gif

yeah, same thing its weiand blower intake, and i have had more problems with than i know what to do with.

1. it doesnt allow you to fit a 3/8 drive on the front 2 bolts even with a u joint

2. had to grind the back of it to fit oil sender.

3. had to grind the sides so i could even put valve covers on.

4. the blow off vavle is convinetly located so that i can barley turn my distributor with out it hitting.

5. graemlins/angry.gif

Try Blower Drive Service and see if you can't get some straight answers b/c I have read that they are good through the years as maybe Dwyer is??

Couple of options.

1. Set the intake on the block without gaskets & bolt it to one head with a couple of bolts.
Check the other side at the top & bottom with feeler gauges & see if you get the same readings.

2. See if your friendly machine shop has the gauge to check the angles.

3. Make your own gauge with two pieces of .060 x 1" or so flat stock bolted together on one end.
Tighten the bolts until it is hard to move the pieces & use them as a comparative gauge by laying them on your heads & spreading them so they match your head angles (the bolted end will be in the valley)then set them on the intake & see if it is the same.
