I do not really know what you are trying to ask. Are you sure you are looking at B&M and not Weiand? I did some searching for a B&M 142 and 144 S/Cer, but came up empty. I tried Weiand, and I came up with a good. I found that the 142 is for a SBC and the 144 is for either a SBC or BBC. THey both have the short nose. That is all I can find, but I will try to dig some more up. Try posting in the Performance section. Those guys know more than I will ever, and they know it all about power adders. Hope I helped,
Chris
I am not sure if you know this, but Holley purchased B&M and Weiand several years ago.
I have the Holley PowerCharger for my BB; formerly known as the B&M 172 unit.
Before I purchased this Holley PowerCharger, I spoke with a Holly supercharger tech re. B&M superchargers and the B&M supercharger history. I recall that he specifically stated that the B&M superchargers and internal parts went through a major reengineering / design change after Holley purchased B&M.
I would contact Holley directly to see if they still have any of the old B&M parts laying around.
