I have a 70 chevelle and need help with it. I didn't build the engine and don't know much about it. I don't trust the guy I bought it from because everything he has said about the car is wrong. According to him I got a 396 that is
Bored 4.125 Stroke 3.760 compression 10.50:1 making it a 402 (I don't know) Roller lifters
Intake Exhaust
cam duration @ .050 230* 230*
Lobe Lift .3063 .3063
Lobe separation 110*
1800 Stall
Here is was I do know:
The car puts out 270 hp to the WHEELS with 436lbs of torque. It ran 1/4 mile in 13.9 @ 98mph. has 342 gears, 850 demon carb with a dual-plane performer RPM manifold, oval port cast heads, ceramic coated headers with flow master exhaust I would like to put a bigger cam and a set of aluminum heads. However I don't know which cam or heads to select for the best set up I already have. Any help would be very greatful
