Hey guys, i am building my engine from scratch and constantly come across bolts that i am missing. The most recent of which are the cam bolts that bolt on the sprocket. What size/length are these so i can pick them up. I am still doing piston ring filing and checking rod clearances, so i have a bit of time still.

I believe Mr. Gasket sells a cam bolt set with the plate style lockwasher. Not sure if they are popular here at chevelles.com, but I installed one. Nice to know that won't be coming loose. So far so good! graemlins/beers.gif

The lock plate is a very good idea.

Dan,
Pioneer, Comp Cams etc all make the bolt kits with the lock plate. They are not more than $6-$7. Your machine shop should be able to get them for you, if they dont stock tehm. Stay away from hardware store stuff.
