I am hooking up some Braided hose from my mech. fuel pump on my sbc 350 up to my Q-Jet carb.

I'm trying to figure out if I can use a 90 degree 3/8th's-to-6 AN male adapter or use a full-flow swivel, 90 degree 3/8th's NPT-to- 6AN male fitting (costs more).

I don't have a shop with any AN fittings local to run my fuel pump down to, to see if the standard 90 degree AN fitting will clear the outermost edge of the pump, once I attach the braid hose fitting.

I can tell from the JEGS catalog the full flow swivel fitting would clear.

I will likely pick up fittings from JEGs in Columbus, OH. (I am in Dayton, OH.).

I already have a braid hose built with female hose fitting on each end. This is real braid hose, not a cheap cover.

I know 6AN is likely overkill for my 5/16th gas line, but It was left over from a MOPAR fuel system I put together. I had used 6 AN fittings & hose to feed the dual carbs.

If you are going to Jegs to pick up the fittings, why not bring the pump and hose with you and they will help you get just the right size you need.

Ken, Way ahead of you, as I have the parts laying on the front seat of my truck.
It's getting there. :(

Between my Cub Master stuff, work and everything else, it's hard to carve out a parts run 45 min each way.

The only place local I know of on my side of Dayton is Kammer and Kammer in Huber Heights and all they carry is Aero Equip, which is $ double compared to Earls brand for AN fittings.
