My 67ss with g70 redlines and manuel steering looks great but the handling stinks. I scored a set of 15 inch ralleys and would like to buy four 15 inch radials, possibly p215's front p225's rear.If I replace the springs with firmer springs that lower the car 1 inch, will this work ?.Will it steer better? Will the tires rub?Lots of questions!Any answers? Thanks Goodguy25653

Tires should fit with no problem (I have 235/60/15s fronts and 255/60/15s rears on my 66). Manual steering is slooow. I guess there are two choices, convert to power or find a faster ratio manual box. I think some Camaros had fast ratio steering but I'm not sure they were manual.

I bought a 69Z-28 camaro, quick ratio manual box some years back.I put my chevelles orig. pitman arm on and its fine.Perhaps call or email Hotchkiss for advise beyond this.Hope it helps. The z box bolted right up.
