my car jack off my 1970 ss was painted over with a primer. i removed the primer paint to get it back to its original state. what should i paint the jack itself? was it a gold cad. color or natual? thanx

STEVE_CUDDIHY Mar 8th, 99, 9:44 AM The base, Tire iron, & mechanism were painted gloss black. The jack rod (what the Mechanism goes up and down on) is plated steel and is almost like galvanized.
