: 6 speed swap

I want to put a 6 speed in my 65 chevelle. I have a mild 327 with a TH350 (car is originally a 283/PG)I have a 12bolt posi w/ 4:10s I was going to put a OD auto in the car but thought why not a 6 speed, Has anyone done this if so what parts do I need and what problems may I run into

i've looked into this for sometime and once funds are available...i've seen a few articles in hotrod where they swaped on in a T56 into a camaro. there is a company that makes an adapter and replaces the electric speedo with a mechanical drive. the T56 would be good for a small block but i think the TQ rating is about 400 ftlbs. for a heavy duty big block i'd go with the richmond 6 spd. the cost is the same and its stronger. it has only on O.D, but an extra low 1st so you can run a lower numerically rear end.
