I wouldn't do a thing to it...I have less miles, much less, on mine...and she is snug as a bug inside., No special treatment...well..not anything mechanical anyway http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

Get some "Sta-Bil" fuel stabilizer, add it to the tank, fill it to the top with good gas (no condensation) and park the babe 'till next season.

Since our Michigan winters tend to be pretty long, this is my recommendation. Use the Sta-Bil as recommended above and be sure to run the car awhile so the stuff gets into the carburetor. Backing off the rocker arms may be considered over-kill by some, but it surely can't hurt anything. It will ensure that all valves are closed and will relax the valve springs. Think of a compressed valve spring as being the same as your outstretched arm holding a 5 lb. weight for hours on end. Also, take out the spark plugs and spray some WD-40 in the cylinders. Hold the throttle linkage all the way open and spray some WD-40 into the intake manifold as well. Raise the car and put jack stands or other support under each of the lower A-arms and under the rear axle (one on each side). The car will be ready for cruising in the spring.

I love Michigan we got snow last night. I have a "car bag" that I use. works awesome. I stored a completly bare steel 66 convert in one last year. and it came out clean as it went in rust wise. The only thing that would have been nicer would have been the body work and paint completed.. just do your self a favor and put decon around the car, not in it or the bag. otherwise they will get your headliner I learned this last year.
