Anyone ever use a Satin or ?? to protect their intake.

If you do it will only burn off at the exhaust cross over.I keep mine looking good by using mag wheel spray cleaner when I clean the engine...FRED

Mike, I have Eastwood's Nyalic clear coating fom an aerosol can, on my aluminum intake since about may of last year. I drive it only about one day a week, but it's held up this far.

Someone from an earlier post said they used POR15 in a clear and has held up real well.
