Well Silicon Blue gasket sealer and the black kind both say on the back not to use it as a head sealer. Should I not use it on Valve cover seals? Hmmm

I wouldn't. The silicone can squeeze out inside the valve cover, break off, and clog vital oil passages.

Would 598B Ultra Black Hi-Temp sealant be ok? No matter what I use Ill make sure it doesnt sneak or break off into the valves or heads that would suck... thanks for the tips so far

What kind of valve gaskets are you using, cork?

Ive got Fel-Pro gaskets from my Moroso ValveCovers and Fel-Pro also for my new manifold and I was thinking of using Ultra Black Hi temp sealant on both

To avoid it bleeding or breaking off extra on the inside I read I can put the sealant on the gasket, between the the gasket and engine then put the valve covers on let it drive and take them off, cut the excess then put the sealant on between the valve covers and gaskets and it should seal up clean?

I use Hi-Tack to glue the gasket down to the head.

why do you want to seal your valve cover gaskets to the block? I always tacked mine to the valve covers with a little hytac so they wouldn't move. Let them sit a little while and then put them on. this way you can take the covers off without damaging the gaskets. Like 427L88 said , it is great for intake gasket to head sealing also.LIGHTLY paint the intake gasket with Hi-tac, let it sit a few minutes, then carefully place it on the head.I coat my intake gaskets on both sides LIGHTLY and put a little silicone around the water passages.
