Just got my new cam, and I think its got a problem. The finish on one of the journals ( not lobes ) has some what looks like some minor indentations. I've never seen any specs for cam journal to cam bearing clearance, so do I have a problem?

If they are in a very consistant patter, like
|||||||||| Then this is chatter from the grinder.
If you can't measure any difference in the journal, it will most likely be OK. If it really
makes you nervous, send it back.
