I need to buy new for my 327/Th-350
1965 Chevelle SS.

1) forward light wiring harness,
2) engine wiring harness.

I have a one wire alternator, HEI, and gauges.
Is it better to go with the stock replacement, or order the modified assemblys that are suppose to be made for the above specifications?

How will this affect things if I decide to later add a tach, etc...

Is one wiring harness manufacturer better than the other?

Any suggestions to the above questions is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jack

Just one man's opinion, but...
I would get the modified harness. The mod's you are talking about, unless it's a concours car, should probably never be undone.

I've gotten harnesses from both of the major harness suppliers. My preference is for M&H - taking nothing away from the other.

Alan,
I appreciate the feedback.
I know we're all a little gun shy about posting any negative info about suppliers, companys etc.. But, I don't think there's anything wrong about posting postitive things about companys??
Thanks,
Jack
