Chas,
I am almost certain that Cloyes has one. Your machine shop or any "real" parts store should be able to get you the part number. If you like, I will get you a price on one on Monday.

My BBC interchange manual does not mention a difference between Mark IV and Gen V timing chains. Jegs also makes no distinction between the two.

GM part numbers for a double roller setup are:
Chain 3891519
Cam sprocket 3891517
Crank sprocket 389518

Thanks for the info but I am a little confused...

I went to the Scoggins-Dickey website and I bought a Cloyes True Roller set, part number CL09-3149 but is only a single chain. This Gen V and VI specific set cost $125!! They did not list a double roller set. I want to make sure that I have the right part the first time. I will be running a supercharger and would think a double roller would be better. I can call Cloyes on Monday, but I am very interested on all of your experiences.

Also, I heard that a double roller would not fit under a stock cover adn I would have to get one from Flatlander Racing to make sure that there would be enough clearance. Any thoughts?

Thanks
