Al I know this is not a forum for auto repair, but I read this site every day and there is not another site on the net that posesses the mechanical expertise that this site provides. please leave this on until Sat. 10/23 Thanks.

I'm going to change the fuel injection system in my '92 GMC S-15 Jimmy this Saturday. It has a 4.3liter Vortec engine.

I think the job is fairly straight forward. Remove the Air plenum, remove/replace fuel injection system and reinstall air plenum.

Has anyone done this before?
Are there any skeletons (Problems) I should be aware of?

The replacement went fairly well except I broke the "plastic" internal fuel lines so the job cost an additional $62.

Truck runs excellent now.
