I was looking at the model numbers for 1972 El Camino's today on the Canadian Classis's site. I found a model number for an El Camino that I had believe never existed it is
13580 - Custom El Camino 6cyl.
I have the information that Chevy sent me when I order my restoration packet for my elky. On the front page is a model selector it doesn't give a model number to a Custom El Camino 6cyl.
And later on in the booklet where it gives a desription and the specs for the 6cyl, it says Standard El Camino (13380 - Which means Standard El Camino 6cyl.)
Where it says optional it reads - None
Does anyone know why there would be a model number, but no El Caminos produced that way.
This site shows that no elkys were produced this way.
