Someone asked me if the valve covers Im trying to sell will fit a gen V head. Mine is Mark IV. I told him they would, now Im thinking about it...there is no difference, is there?? John

Bolt pattern is the same. I remember reading that the Gen V covers had to be re-machined to work on Mk IV heads. I think there are bosses around the bolt holes to prevent overtightening of the covers, and you have to grind them off to put them on a Mk IV.
