What will too high fuel pressure do to an engine? will it make it hard to start or what? were runnning a 770 holly street avenger with vac sec. electric choke and the fuel press says 9 to 10 lbs the car will sput but not start

It'll cause idle problems, flooding, fouling of spark plugs. That's if the needle in the float bowl is indeed being unseated.

Brand new carb just put on yesterday it started up great that day now today it wont

Somebody told me that if the choke wasent working witch i tested the wire it was dead that when it was choked it would foul the plugs and wet the cylinders causing it not to start right and he said use some starting fluid then drive it to blow out the rest
