: A little snow???
BillsCamino Jan 18th, 12, 10:01 AM Looks like y'all are going to be breaking out the snow shovels...bummer!! :(
At least the recent forecast has reduced the total accumulation that was initally called for earlier this week.
1badss396 Jan 18th, 12, 10:07 AM Yep don't look like they will be using the blower on their cars but on a snow blower soonl:)
Keith Tedford Jan 18th, 12, 10:17 AM You can keep the snow down there. ;) After yesterday's rain our lawn is half bare. Over night it turned cold, so our driveway is a skating rink. The weather man is calling for a couple of inches of snow on Thursday. I've only blown snow twice this winter and not much at that. Global warming might be hurting some people but it seems to be helping us.....at least for now.
BMR Sales Jan 18th, 12, 10:29 AM Dont miss the snow, but I do miss the mild summer temps!
Chicken Coupe Jan 18th, 12, 10:59 AM Bill,
Who's y'all and how much snow? GA, NY?
BillsCamino Jan 18th, 12, 11:05 AM :D
NOTE....this thread I started is in the NW forum.
Seattle area forecasted for up to 8" of white stuff today. Many flights have been canceled...
Sorry for the confusion.
Chicken Coupe Jan 18th, 12, 11:09 AM DOH! :clonk:
Just read the news
BigRedSS Jan 18th, 12, 1:42 PM Yep, snowed in today! So far in the foothills of Western Washington we have about 9-10". Kids are off from school and I don't have to work. We don't get snow all winter so it's still a big novelty for the kids. Snow days aren't all that bad!! :hurray:
Twins Fan Jan 18th, 12, 2:17 PM Yep, snowed in here too. Luckily I have today and tomorrow off, so I stocked up on stuff and now just sitting inside watching it snow. It has stopped at my place for the time being. I would guess there's at least 6 inches of the white stuff in my yard.
Twins Fan Jan 18th, 12, 3:01 PM Just saw a guy cruising around the block on his snowmobile. I guess that means we got some snow? :D
Haven't seen that since I last lived in MN, in '01 (grew up in MN).
69chevelless3964speed Jan 18th, 12, 3:05 PM Supposed to get 2 inches here tonight... Maybe take the Polaris out and have some fun.

Really, LA is going to comment on how anyone deals with the snow? I don't think they get to make any comments about snow. :D
1badss396 Jan 19th, 12, 8:38 AM Where are the snow pictures boys?

Kirk's67SS Jan 20th, 12, 1:53 PM Well up here in the far north we did not have any snow until Dec. 24th night,
just in time for Xmas.
As of today, in less than a month, I have as much snow in my front/back yards of a height of 3' to 4',
which is equal to the end of last winter's accumulation at the end of March !
Lots more to come in the next 2 1/2 month's .
We could be using the roof as the begining of a ski slope before the winter is out !
dgcurrier Jan 21st, 12, 10:49 AM This is what it looked like a few days ago here in Boise. It started raining that night and was all gone in a couple days.

dhauge Jan 24th, 12, 12:04 PM Kinda funny reading this thread! Where we live, just east of Missoula, MT, we got 24" of this stuff, followed by freezing rain! What was on the roof of the shop came down Saturday afternoon, now got 5' piled up in front of the doors!! All are welcome to come over and dig out!
1badss396 Jan 24th, 12, 3:00 PM Still hot and sunny here :D
dgcurrier Jan 26th, 12, 12:09 PM Been raining here for the last seven days. No snow lwft. If this was snow it would be nasty time!
