How many times can copper collector gaskets be reused? Thinking about buying a pair to use on my cutouts so I don't have to replace them every time I uncork the beast. But I'd rather not spend the money if they can't be reused very many times.

I have the aluminum gaskets, they work great and can be reused as many times as use need to. I think they were about $16.

I'm assuming that copper and aluminum gaskets are about the same as far as softness and how much they can be reused right?

If the copper gaskets are still flat and not gouged you can heat them cherry red on an electric stove burner and anneal them. This will let you use them many times over. Best of luck to you.Dennis
