Need help in locating a picture of a '72 Chevelle, Heavy Chevy which identifies the location of the side stripes and the Heavy Chevy logos on the trunk and hood.

I have an all original 71 Heavy Chevy that I purchased new. The pictures I have are not really good enough to tell you exact measurements for the stripes and emblems. The Chevelle Assembly manuals that are sold by most of the restoration suppliers have a good diagram showing the positions of the stripes. I can scan a copy of the two pages if you wish, but it will be a pretty big file. Let me know.

The book "SS Restoration Guide" gives you exact details on where the stripes etc. are to be placed. However, I have heard from numerous sources that this book is not 100% accurate. I think I recall you can see a pic of the stripes in the 1972 sales brochure elsewhere on this site.
