I have changed the front to disk on car with 2 inch drop spindles.

I picked up the Power Booster at Dyers last week.

The prop valve has the single outlet for the rear and the two outlets for the front.

Had a little discussion with chevelle tech at Dyers and was told that many of the people doing the conversion use only one of the front outlets. He stated they plug one outlet and use the other for both the front calipers using a normal brake fitting. Was also told that this approach provides adequate braking.

Need an opinion on this approach. I can go either way but question the validity of this approach. If two outlets are provided it seems like the practical thing would be to use both however, using a single outlet would simplify the installation, I think:confused:.

Mike, I just saw your post. In my front disc conversion the prop valve had two outlets to supply the front brakes. I put a plug in the top fitting that sits at a 45* angle and ran one line down to the distribution block on the frame rail. That block I had replaced with one that separates the rear brakes from the front. It all works great and was a simple install. I have photos if you need them.

Thanks for input.

That is basically what I decided to do. The only thing I did different was run a the line from the prop valve to the rear brakes direct and only retained the distribution block above the differential.

For the front I put a T-Type distribution block on the side of the frame and fed from the lower outlet on the prop valve to the middle of the block. I used the upper outlet on the T to feed the left front and the lower outlet on the T to feed the right front.

Almost done. Replacing all the brake lines and only have the two from the rear distribution block to the left and right wheel cylinders to go. Will probably finish this AM.

I used both ports on the prop valve for my conversion
