: Who Would Like To Have A Chevelle/El Camino Trivia Section?

A recent headliner question I posted yesterday has led me on the path to asking our great moderators here to add a new section to our site..."Chevelle Trivia". Chevelle Trivia can/will be an excellent learning tool for folks who are just breaking into the Chevelle hobby and the more seasoned folks here as well. Imagine how deep some of these topics may go as far as engine numbers, interior options, paint codes, available dealer accessories, etc. I think this would/will be a great addition to our site. Let our mods know how you feel by taking the poll.

The entire site is Chevelle trivia.
It's just broken down into individual sections of interest.

This should be right up your alley then, Gary. We will have more questions and answers to obscure facts and figures about Chevelles and Elkys than you can shake a stick at!

You mean a public forum sorta like wikipedia where anyone can post anything that they heard somebody say was a fact because they had a cousin that had a neighbor who said they knew someone that had a real one?
:secret:
I think we have enough forums now.

Just go to chevellestuff.net (http://chevellestuff.net/) for the true trivia.

I believe we had something like that way back when. It was on the Team Chevelle home page?

It seems to me that we had that some time ago , with a daily trivia factoid done by a guy from Florida. I cannot remember his name or just why it did not continue.

I admit, they do have a great section pertaining to obscure Chevelle facts, but what I'm asking for is a forum for our members to be able to discuss and share odd inklings of tech info pertaining to what they are currently working on. There are gobs of detail items that our members here would love to be able to discuss in detail... not just read about on a fixed site of info. I for example, obtained the info I needed about my early 66 "small sail panel" trim pieces from one of our members right here on this site. I dug around the internet for weeks before I finally got what I needed, and it wound up being right here on this site.

Isnt this entire site pretty much a "chevelle trivia" site? It would seem to me if this site werent dedicated exclusively to chevelles, that may be a good idea, but every single forum on this site is full of useful tidbits of info about chevelles. The only thing another forum will do is get those tidbits put into yet another forum that they dont belong in because we have forums here for every single part of a chevelle now. Just my .02 cents

I believe it's somewhat like "minutiae". :D
