Hello

I have 65 chevelle with a pretty hot 350, its an 84 block.

Right now I am running a crappy proform stock oe balancer.

Would going to a better one, like fluiddamper help?

What would you chose?? I was looking at a streetdamper, made by fluid damper, their street version.

Any advice or knowledge would be great.

graemlins/waving.gif Well I have two cars with SFI Pioneer balancers on both. A very nasty 368 roller small block and a nice 427 in my son's 71. I don't think you need to consider one of the fluid type units unless we are talking pure race stuff.

Well made units, no problems with balance and not to exspensive. smile.gif

Between $100 to $200 I think. It's been about a year or so since I bought the units and at my age what I had for dinner last night is hard to recall.

Thanks, sounds about right. So a fluiddamper for 170, is in about the same price range as that, so I think I will go with that, unless anyone else has any other ideas
