this gizmo has been in a lot of ads lately. it suction cup's to your windsheild like a radar detector and gives you 1/4 mile and 0 to 60 time even horse power rating. has anyone tried one?? sells for $140. would be a pretty neat tool if it works. john

I read an article recently where they tested it out. They tried the gizmo and collected data and then ran it at the strip and compared. It was pretty accurate. Their website tells alot about how it works and everything, I think it www.gtechpro.com

I have a G-Tech Pro and love it. It's a lot of fun and you don't have to go to the track. It's very accurate but your times will differ from the track unless you run slicks on the street and can lay several layers of rubber down on your starting 60' of road. The cars always hook better at the track and you can get better times with a powerful car. For a slower 14 second car there will not be as much difference.

They work great. Track times are typically a 1/10th or 2/10th quicker due to the tire rollout you don't get w/the g-tech
