I am currently running an edy vic jr EFI manifold on my engine, using their fuel rails, injectors and hold downs. I went this way because it was an easy bolt up setup but I would like to try a dual plane and have noticed that the rpm air gap manifold has bosses cast but not machined. Does anyone here know what would be required to use this manifold, hopefully with my current rails and injectors? Some place with experience with this modification? It's for the oval port BBC in my sig.

Rob has done a few for me over the years.

I've seen AGs with nitrous bosses, but not EFI injector bosses. They're much larger. Also, there's issues with getting all the injectors in the same plane so a one piece fuel rail can be used.

If you find a solution post it up here, I know there's more than one guy looking for this, me included.

i didn't think about nitrous; maybe that is what they are. I'll have to study on it some it looks like.

let us know what Rob says. Most efi manifolds are single plane. He may have a solution for it though, he does a lot of manifolds.

Somebody has to ask: WHY?

Factor in that intake manifold requirements really are different for EFI than they are for a carb. Fuel atomization is much less a problem with EFI. With EFI the bigger problem is equal airflow to each cylinder.

I would look more for an intake with longer runners with lengths as close to matched as possible. Really, apart from height, a tunnel ram is a good match for MPFI.

mixture velocity and cylinder filling at low to mid-range RPM is why I'm looking at this.
