Huh ?
Your statement is confusing me, The bottom of the linkage (passenger side) is for the trannie hookup "1 3/16 inch" from center shaft. Next hole up is useless for a spring return "7/8 inch" from center of shaft, not e'nuf leverage for return spring. Next small hole up above the center shaft is for return spring. Now for the biggie, you are going to hafta get creative to get your throttle cable to fit without slop, I personally machine down a small piece of whatever and hook it up with a 1/4 bolt. Hope this is what your looking for and good luck.

You might be able to get a nylon bushing for it.

Keith

What are you trying to say?

May I suggest that you acquire some composition and punctuation skills rather than fooling around with cars?

Keith,

Very confusing post with the run on sentence.

However, here is my input on the correct positions for the linkages. The top large hole is for the throttle rod. Your rod should be inserted into a rubber grommet that fits into this large hole. You should also have the same type of rubber grommet at the back of the rod where it connects to the accellerator arm on the firewall. The transmission kickdown linkage is connected to the bottom hole. The return spring is hooked into the tiny hole at the front which was connected to a flat piece of metal that is on the oil filler neck on the original type of intake manifold. If you don't have a stock manifold with the oil filler neck on it, you can buy a Mr. Gasket or other accelerator return spring bracket and bolt it to your manifold.
