I purchased a 1970 Chevelle 454 SS. What is the original stock carburetor? Also, what kind of carb would give me the best performance.

Well it depends on what engine you have.... An LS5 engine would have come from the factory with a QJet and an LS6 would have come with a Holley 780 CFM carb..tho for some reason Chevy called it an 800 CFM..

As for the best performance it would depend on all the variables... gearing , RPM range , what type of driving , cam ,ect ect ect.
