I'm going from a smallblock to a big block do I have to change the throttle cable???

You don't say what year, but I think the difference on a '68/'72 is 2bbl and 4bbl on a 'standard' V8 cable. Although, (Holley) 350 4bbl and 70/72 SHP use different. All of the 'vendors' have them in stock.

On the '69 changing from a 327 to a 396 I needed to change the throttle cable and the bracket. I used a Q-Jet carb. Believe the difference will also depend on the carb and bracket set up you use. Most all the vendors list a throttle cable for a big block and a small block, so must be different in most applications.
