How close to the radiator should the front of the fan be? I have a non-A/C 69 (3-row) with a clutch fan. The front of the fan is coming out to be about inline with the back edge of the shroud. So no part of the fan is inside the shroud and you can clearly see the entire fan when looking down. Is this correct, or should I get a spacer to mover the fan closer to the radiator? What is the correct ran to radiator spacing?
Thanks,
Mike

The fan should be approximately 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the shroud. Try adding a spacer to achieve this.

Thanks for the reply,
Do you mean that the front of the fan blades should be a 1/2 inch into the shroud?

Mike, the front of the fan blades should be approx 1/2 of their width into your shroud. Meaning the blades are 1/2 way into the shroud (not a 1/2 inch)and 1/2 of the blades can be seen still outside the shroud.
