: Is my calculation correct?

I used a computer compression calculator and calculated this:

bore=4.125
stroke=4.25
chamber size= 119cc (781's)
8cyl
gasket thickness= .030
piston cc= 25.7 domed

compression came to about 10.5:1
Is this accurate even with an open chamber head? I am looking at using around a 230/230 cam on a 110LSA. OK? Also any hp guesses with a holly 800cfm double pumper and hooker 1 7/8 super comps and 4.10s out back. Also an rpm intake.

is your bore and stroke right.......thats a small bore big stroke .......be like a 402 bbc with a 4.25 stroke.....half inch more stroke........its still a 454 engine with those parts....

Did you actually find pistons for that combo? or are you just making an assumption that these are available? I had asked about something like this way back and the consensus was it was not a good bore/stroke combination.

o.k, I got 10.3:1 with 4.25 bore by 4.00 stroke. Is this going to be accurate with the 781's?
